DOORS WITH INTERIOR WOOD COMBINED PROFILE AND EXTERNAL ALUMINUM
For the production of Wood-Aluminum frames, different wood species are used:
1) Lamellar okumè;
2) Lamellar hemlock;
3) Lamellar oak.
The sections used for the realization of the frames are: for the frame mm 63 × 70 while those of the door are mm 68 × 81 radius. The crosspieces and the uprights are joined by the insertion of 4 wooden pins, with a 90 ° interlocking system, for perfect stability and durability over time.
The finishes are made strictly with water-based paints, in three different moments. This procedure allows to preserve the wood from atmospheric agents, guaranteeing a longer life compared to traditional paints.
The aluminum sections are: for the frame mm 11 × 64 while those of the door are 30 × 40 mm with a rounded profile.
On the lower part of the aluminum frame, concealed water drainage slots have been provided.
The total of the Wood – Aluminum section is: Frame 83 x 90 mm, Door 81 x 102 mm.
The standard room glass used for windows and patio doors is 33.1 – 15 with 90% Argon gas – 33.1 low emissive, guaranteed for 10 years, with double-sealed robotic control for perfect insulation. Between the glasses and the profile are placed two gaskets in epdm, which due to their soft structure can absorb all the external stresses to which they are subjected (pressure / wind) and at the same time ensure a perfect seal against water infiltration.
The GU Italia ribbon hardware with Silver finish is used, whose hinges are three-dimensional adjustable, with a capacity of up to 130 Kg. The hinges and the cremonesi with anti-burglary system are supplied as standard with polished brass, satin chrome or bronze finishing. For the French windows there are n. 03 hinges for doors. The type of hardware used is already prepared for burglary. A DK model of the Hoppe model SECURSTIK anti-burglary is supplied as standard.
Both the windows and the French doors are equipped with a lever rod on the secondary leaf that allows, with a simple movement, the simultaneous closing in the upper and lower points of the door itself. An aluminum door with a satin silver or bronze finish is fitted as standard to the French windows.
There are three gaskets: a first gasket on the outer part of the aluminum frame profile, in order to create a first barrier to wind and water; a second seal, called “central fin”, is placed on the wooden frame section to definitively block any water infiltration while the last one is placed on the wooden frame and has a thermo-acoustic function. To prevent micro-infiltration of water and wind, a “vulcanized” type of gasket is inserted in the corners.
The aluminum part is anchored on the wooden structure by means of special clips blocked on the wood, so as not to create any contact between wood and aluminum.
